France - Canal du Midi to Hauteford

A statue of St Alpinien stands outside Castelsarrasin's church that was once a priory. In the 1200s relics of this saint were installed at Limogues but to avoid desecration during the revolution they were placed in a shrine and buried at St Sauveur in the 1700s. They were dug up and placed in their present shrine here in 1823.
